Dubai Fashion Week officially launched its Spring/Summer edition, setting a dazzling standard for the region’s premier fashion showcase. Co-founded by the Dubai Design District, a global creative hub under TECOM Group, and the Arab Fashion Council, the opening night delivered a breathtaking array of regional talent, glamorous couture, and meticulous craftsmanship. The event continues to cement Dubai’s status as a powerhouse global hub for fashion and creativity, drawing industry leaders, international media, and top-tier designers.
The inaugural evening set an elevated tone with standout presentations from both regional visionaries and global debutants. Kuwaiti designer Yousef AlJasmi opened the shows with his debut, presenting a glamorous couture collection defined by a sophisticated, striking palette of black, cream, and silver. Dubai-based designer Sara Pedram showcased ‘The Simorgh Collection’, a breathtaking line of couture gowns inspired by the mythical bird of strength and wisdom, brought to life through delicate hand embroidery and painterly details. Making her official debut, Indian designer Pallavi Puri unveiled a fifty-look collection spanning three chapters. Crafted by over one hundred and fifty artisans using more than twenty-one traditional art forms, the presentation featured equestrian influences and a fresh floral edit, reaching a crescendo with show-stopping appearances by Indian supermodel Lisa Haydon and Lebanese actress Cyrine Abdelnour. Additionally, Krésha Bajaj presented ‘The Garden of Borrowed Light’, exploring the fleeting beauty of memory and motion through fluid silhouettes, complex beadwork, and painterly florals, exquisitely paired with statement jewellery from Alok Lodha Jewels.

The excitement continues with an energetic lineup of shows and presentations featuring Gigi Boutique, KEL’, L’Scarlett, GNL Couture, and Nafsika Skourti. With strategic partnerships spanning beauty, hospitality, and music—including KIKO Milano, Schwarzkopf, Spotify, and Delano Dubai, Dubai Fashion Week proves once again that the future of global style shines brightly in the desert.
